Boss BR-600 Drums

I like a lot of the drum patterns on the Boss BR-600.  Does anyone know if they publish these sets, or get them from a certain place.  Is there anyway I can get access to them besides creating an arrangement and copying them off?

Thanks.

I have the same issue as you. I guess you can export them as midi, if you have a Br900 and above. I only have a microBR, so I haven't tried.

Otherwise you have to work with audio, or, if you are a brave man, you can download the BR rythm editor, watch the patterns, redo them on (e.g.) hydrogen, and then send it to me in midi ;-).

If you find something, please post!

PS: I suspect these boss patterns are also used in their dr series. I guess you can also arrange everything on the dr our br900 (or above) unit, and then midi sync with the computer or whatever. I'm tempted in going in that direction.

It is beyond me why Roland can't write a simple "export as midi" function for their editor.  They must think their drum patterns are REALLY, REALLY precious.  Maybe someone can write a program to access the Roland files - I can't imagine it would be that difficult, and it would be a usefull tool indeed.

But not including an export function in the editor is just dumb, especially since the BR-800 has no midi out, and purports to work with a DAW.  What in heck are they thinking?
