I really love your clean tone, there is so much expression going on.  I can hear all your nuances to your picking, etc.  Please tell me what guitar (sounds like single coil) what effect setting.  I like this tone a lot.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I agree. Tone is awesome and the sound is perfect for this song. Reminds me of a big fat hollowbody kinda sound. What did you use on this dealywag?

Love it. Can you give us the backer trax for this? I'd love to give it a shot.

Clean tone ... and very clean picking!! I would be all clangs and rattles lol! Nice one!

Good grief. Just when I think you can't get any better, you pull something like this out of the bag. Brian Setzer-a-go-go. Just fantastic. I'm downloading it... I had lyrics and vocals pouring into my head listening to this, and the start of a song called 'Ringland Drive Jive'. Lets see what happens!  :)

p.s. Did you write this?!

p.p.s. What guitar are you using? The tone is awesome. Sounds like Setzer's Gretsch.

the backing is a jam track on a JM4 looper.
the guitar is an Ibanez AS103 semi, neck pick-up with the "Albert Lee" tone on the looper. the lead was made up as i went along.
the ibanez is a serious piece of kit at the third of the price of a gibson 335.

That's a nice guitar - in looks and sound. I play an Ibanez electro-acoustic as my main live guitar, and it's a real beauty. They don't get the respect they deserve!

p.s. I've just written all the lyrics!  :)

Here is a rythm only version.
i called it Ringland Jive because i live on Ringland housing estate.

I like the version with your lead playing all over it better. It's really jumping! Do you mind if I change the title to 'Slowhand Drive Jive' ????!

Got some simple but dirty old lyrics for this one...

My magic 8 ball tells me you're my girl
My magic 8 ball tells me you're my girl
You give me fire when I'm diving for your pearl

It's so emphatic when the point gets driven home
It's so emphatic when the point gets driven home
She keeps me waiting until her bird has flown

Going down to Slowhand Drive
Gonna get some Slowhand Jive
Going down to Slowhand Drive
Gonna get some Slowhand Jive

Going down to Slowhand Drive tonight!

Our hearts are tuned to the frequency we know
Our hearts are tuned to the frequency we know
And the boys keep swinging on the big band radio

She flicked my switch and she blew my fuse again
She flicked my switch and she blew my fuse again
She keeps me rocking when I ride her midnight train

Going down to Slowhand Drive
Gonna get some Slowhand Jive
Going down to Slowhand Drive
Gonna get some Slowhand Jive

Going down to Slowhand Drive tonight!
