Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

This is a really nice version of the song – and I've heard a few. I've always preferred the original, by the Zutons. In my band, I've played the hyper-version (Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse) which is my least favorite version: boring as hell for a bass player.

I like that your version is so gentle, and more suited to the song: Someone going through a hard time, persuading a friend to come over; a friend who can commiserate because they have also been through some shit.

Vocals are a little a low.

I do have an electric bass and guitar, i do have an acoustic guitar. I even have a keyboard and a Roland drum set What I seem to miss is skills. So to cure my at least 40y frustration I dicovered my instrument being my voice. So I finaly had the nerve to take singing lessons and make my voice heared thanks to Songcrafters.

very successful, I love the two guitars, the vocals, the harmony... well everything...
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Yeah, this was so relaxing that although i was trying my best to get ready to meet the day... I felt more like rolling over and pulling the blanket over my head.

The gentle rolling of the playing is like waves hitting gently on the shoreline. The vocals are soft. Softer than an ice cream melted in the sun.

Very enjoyable rendition! The guitar and vocals approach suits you fine.

Well done Tim! This is the only version I've heard of this song and it's beautifully done. The guitars sound so soft and full...they fill the background space nicely. The mellow lead solo is a perfect fit for the music. You sing this very good and the backing harmonies/vocals are cool.

Neither Zutons nor Winehouse, very much its own thing. And all the better for it. Chilled.
