After some home renovations I managed to get back into the studio.
The message is universal.
Love is all we've got.
Sending out the vibes to a twisted world.
Hope you like it.

No guarantees tomorrow
Will bring you what you need
No one should build their hopes
On foundations made of greed
Just close your eyes imagine
That you have all you need
Cmon your almost there
Cmon your almost there
Now open up your eyes
And look around and feel the world you're in
Youl find the great Suprise
Is that it's always been around you

No one can say its easy
No body said it was
Just get back up and smile
Because everybody falls
Cmon
Cmon and get back up
Cmon
Everybody falls.

Now open up your I eyes
And look around and feel the world you're in
Youl find the great Suprise
Is that the answer's always been here now.
Love is all we've got.

beaut! loved this right from the start with that busy percussion. fabulous production and super lyrics mate.

love how you have arranged the song with that driving beat and the subtle synths. you write excellent songs Mr.Mac!

Is... this... what the kids call Eurodance? And by kids, I mean people in their early 50s today who were dancing to music like this in their 20s. I've judged this genre in my mind — perhaps unfairly. I'm dance-impaired and suspicious of anything that urges escapism — even in the name of love.

That said, this sounds awesome – a great energetic recording. It transported me to dance clubs in the 90s where I felt awkward and out of place. Damn it, Kenny, I don't want to be here! And it rises above my reductive critique of the genre in two ways:

First, the muted, flangy, chorused guitar — and the fact that there's guitar at all. I couldn't tell you why, but it sounds like hope and idealism. And second, the lyrics redeem the song, with a quiet call for perseverance (if not direct action) in hard times: "No one can say it's easy / Nobody said it was / Just get back up and smile / Because everybody falls."

Thank all.
I've just posted an updated mix as I felt the vocal was a bit distorted on a level.
I think Ted I'm really delving back into incorporating some dance grooves and syths as I did years back.
I probably a better player now so was interested to see how the process went.

I like music that makes me move.. and this does.. and that could be music that makes me do things instead of sit around.
there is a slight sinister element to this in the synth.. intrigue and suspicion.  Which could actually make this a track for a movie or show.
The real star here though isn't the electronica, though that is inspiring.  The voice.
Lyrics as well.

Such uplifting lyrics, and such uplifting, percolating, joyful music. It's a feel-good anthem for these feel-bad times, and a perfect soundtrack for losing oneself in the rhythms and spirituality of dancing with wild abandon. Bravo!

Tasty synth pop from the 80's! Sure hit, if this has been released at that time!!

I can't remember when I last got up and danced in public, but back in the day this would have got me on the dancefloor. Great song and I love the use of synths in it.

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

Definitely a great song with an 80's synth pop feel. The synth Arps sound great. Nice drums and guitars. Great vocals and catchy lyrics as always.
