so this is more crazy stuff... imagine that.
born of this afternoons practice.

practice goes like drums... then do some guitar stuff... record that to a metronome.
then do the bass... then the drums.  but this was a bit diff because i also recorded the guitars out those speakers... and also had the small ref mons where I was standing that was causing feedback edge... I was really feeling alive.
One guitar like that... Shecter.  using the boss ME-25
then I did the bass using the new line 6 bass thingy and also mic'd from the speaker.
then i did the drums... and as i kept the very first take of drums I did... even though i played them about 6 times... but during that process i started getting "lyrical ideas"

so to be fair... I have been reviewing family history and photos.. and all this talk on this site of cassette tapes and 4 track machines... i suppose my senses are in overload...
plus i had A/C service today.  now I am hot and sweaty even though it is cool inside.
and I have been running a chain saw... and I ran out in the country roads again..
its all to much... and this was born... and then I added a lead guitar

all mixed on the Zoom L-20 with knobs and thingy's... then mastered with TruPeak.

What a trip! There's a mind-expanding 60s vibe here that's wild and wooly and just a blast of surrealism-tinged energy. The fuzzy guitars and free structure (and lyrics, of course) really capture a hazy altered-state atmosphere that's perfect for a late-night festival performance. And I quite like the aggressiveness of the way you sing "...who also liked cookies!"

Convinced you are related to Captain Beefheart. Another bizarre, bouncing off the walls composition. Reminds me of "Psychopath" by the Edgar Broughton Band. Great title btw.

This was way more sane than i thought it would be. The lyrical themes range from juvenile to way more mature themes. And it all comes together in the end. All of this set to a rocking background.

I was expecting for the milkers to pop out at any minute, but Stephen kept it clean.

So here we go. This feels like Steve coming back and aligning his inner chakras again. It all feels very Steve M and like that place we wanna go to feel safe. I guess we all have one. This is great. It's far out, exploratory, no boundaries, a bit psychadelic, a bit metal, but 100% great and alive. You had fun here :)

Super listen

You could have left it there but you had to keep going lol

Your free form madness is quite substantial. It holds together very well. I love it but you can't tell anyone.

This is a track that works in the sun (my earlier listening enviroment) and in the total darkness like now.

The guitar is wailing, the drums are on the money and the skinny sweaty man is riding the bronco!

That had to go in the snappy patter thread!
