StephenM is referring to the rules of an in-person songwriting circle I used to run. A couple of times political arguments would erupt as we discussed each other's songs. So we developed a rule: Keep your politics in your songs. If you don't like someone's politics, respond in a song.

That's not a "rule" here, but it's something of a "norm."

The spoken preface to your song might be setting yourself up for unnecessary friction here, and it risks derailing the focus from your music itself. I recommend trimming that bit off and letting the song stand on its own.
