glad you can be really writing and recording quite alot again Paul!  The world, my world is the better for it.  Just so you know (and Trev as well) that I have a good bit of your music on my phone that plays in my random list.... I can tell right off who it is...

this song lyrically and even a touch of delivery reminds me of the ideas of Meatloaf used on some of their tracks... love that organ.

and Ella's vocals are a home run on this... superb

This is a great song. But it hits hard.

Trev sings about the depths and desperation of his character's love. It's a great vocal performance, but there are lots of songs like this.  Little did I expect what you were setting me up for.

You know that phenomenon where actors sometimes get accosted on the street by fans who can't separate an actor from the wicked character they play on screen. I'm feeling a little of that. I hate Ella. Not really. I hate this character in the song. Ella's delivery is so perfectly indifferent and checked out. "I'm trying not to hurt you." [Checks a notification on her phone.]

Like I said: It hits hard. Chappers' music captures the tension fantastically.

I promise I won't accost Ella on the street.
