Panama - ODH Van Halen cover

A colleague of mine in work is from Chile. We were talking about countries is Central and South America. Then we went on from the country of Panama to the Van Halen song Panama. It got in my head and I found myself wanting to play it on guitar. Week and a half later here we are. The guitar is pretty ropy mind.

for me right out of the gate this reminds me of the Elton John covers of Pinball Wizard and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (which I thought were quite a bit better than the originals, and I loved the originals)...
