Practise man! Practise!
That's what I have been doing with the guitar played by Acoustic Lounge.

In Audacity I did some reverb, treble and phasing at the fade away part
I do have an electric bass and guitar, i do have an acoustic guitar. I even have a keyboard and a Roland drum set What I seem to miss is skills. So to cure my at least 40y frustration I dicovered my instrument being my voice. So I finaly had the nerve to take singing lessons and make my voice heared thanks to Songcrafters.

Bread songs are great, aren't they.

Really enjoyed listening to this, PT.

Your vocal performance, phrasing and tone are very good on this song. I think if you brought the guitars up so the vocal was slightly above the music you would have a better mix. That just my humble opinion but you sing this very well!

This is a great cover, I do think the vocal mix is  too high but it is a great vocal.
Great tonal quality to it .
Nice one.

Dear Kenny and Farrel

Thanks for the feedback I really appriciate that.
English however is not my native language.
In my humble understanding for me you contradict eache other.
Should I bring the voice volume down or up?🤣

Kind regards,

Corné

Hi Corné. Sorry for the confusion. Bring the voice volume down. You could either lower the voice or raise the guitars because it gets the same result. The suggestion is to get a good level balance between the vocal and the guitars. But that is my way of mixing and just my opinion. Even if you don't make any changes, it stills sounds good and you sing it very well.

beautiful song, Farell's advice was judicious, I also listened to the second version in which you raised the volumes in the mix of the voice ..it's better

the vocals are very good

What exactly is "Guitar Lunge"... (PS I would have put a bit of dobro or weissenborn guitar ;)
