These guitars sound fabulous to me Pete!  So clean, so clear, and very nice effects.  Pro sounding!  Vocals sit very nice in the mix.  The vocals and mix are really nice Pete.  You have me convinced.. you are legit.

a great song for you to do.. I think it fits perfect!

really well done Pete, and really good guitar tracks
Can you give us some technical information about their recording and processing?
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Y'all are really pushing this Marr thing here :)

For me... before this fest Marr mostly meant two things: The guitarist for Morrisey and a face in the guitar magazine covers.

I think his status as a songwriter and a player is well deserved. And hearing these covers makes it even easier to appreciate his talent. Hearing the songs played by different players and from slightly different angles puts more focus into the songwriting.

I'm liking what i'm hearing. You've done a great job of showcasing both Marrs and your own talents.

All the guitar tracks were played on my Fender Jaguar straight into the Boss BR800
1) Panned left on the Jag's rhythym circuit through an acoustic simulator patch
2) Panned right on the Jag's lead circuit, bridge and neck pickups through an acoustic simulator patch
3) Centre Jag bridge pickup through a clean patch with chorus
4) Solo was Jag bridge pickup through a driven Fender Twin patch
5) Squier P Bass went through the Punk patch
6) Strings from the Arturia Microfreak synth
7) Vocals through my condenser mic through the Pop vocal patch

Normalised and converted to MP3 on Audacity.

You had me fooled with the Jag through an acoustic simulator patch. I thought it was a real acoustic guitar because it sounds just like one. A cool vocal and cover Pete!

Pete, I saw this coming up on SC a couple of days back and was looking forward to hearing this. You've done an amazing job here and not least on the vocals. You have done a sterling job on the vocals, a great performance. But everything else sounds great. Great listen.
