This is a brilliant turn of phrase:

"You can't put out a fire

You've got a protest song mounted above a droning synth that lulls the listener. It leads to the complacency that the lyric is railing against:

"Well I guess we'll just do nothing
The same thing as before
Believe in fairy stories
Believe in something more
In a mist of misinformation
They lead us into war"

A really lonely, forlorn message, but an important one, and it's probably how most people are feeling these days. The world is a mess... there are no real truthful, honest messages that ring true coming from any of those that lead, or would lead us. But a great song.
