at first i thought no not possible this song has no french adaptation and i am unable to write a song text ...and then always the curiosity i made a research on google and incredible i found a french version!

I discovered this Argentinean guitarist Dominic Miller who is really excellent...he made a very instrumental version, live, of shape of my heart which is really nice

Nice job.  Very familiar with this song and love it!  Great playing on your cover!  Interesting - a few weeks ago I was watching a youtube video about this song - about how it is tricky to play the guitar part, and I think I also watched an interview of Dominic Miller where he was talking about it!  Don't have the links, but maybe they were the same videos you saw

Indeed, Doug, there are a lot of tutorials on the arpeggio of this song

As Ray asked me to do a French version I didn't think it was possible and then I found a French version on YT from a girl who translated literally the lyrics of this song

donc toutes ces discussions et entendre votre version et l'instrumental m'ont fait chercher ça... c'est génial et présente le même guitariste mais beaucoup plus jeune... comme l'était Sting... Je dois dire (et je sais que des millions seraient en désaccord avec moi) que j'aime mieux Sting dans le groupe The Police. J'aime juste plus ce genre de musique... cela ne veut pas dire que son travail en solo n'est pas brillant parce qu'évidemment c'est le cas et que les masses l'adorent... et je vois pourquoi... même si ça me manque groupe!


so all this talk and hearing your version and the instrumental made me go look this up... this is brilliant and features the very same guitarist but much younger...as was Sting.... I have to say (and I know that millions would disagree with me) that I like Sting better in the band The Police.  I just love that kind of music more... that is not to say though that his solo work isn't brilliant because obviously it is and the masses dig it...and I see why... still though I do miss that band!
