Emmanuelle (1974, Theme)

A song from the Friday disaster series (which i just made up). This is of course the world famous Emmanuelle song originally done by Pierre Bachelet (& Herve Roy).

Unfortunately i had to keep the scratch vocals as my voice is playing tricks on me. But other than that i'm somewhat happy with the outcome. Considering that it has shakey live drums and other musical surprises.

this sounds great... the song doesn't mean much to me (I am sure it's a great song, but what I mean is in the sea of millions of songs I never heard it)... but do I ever love your voice on this and the music is great.. the mix is superb...
live drums?  please explain!  Is that your digital kit?
they sound really good, or at least they don't hinder in any way... the bass is very old school which I love..
the vocals are the star though for me.. but when you are this good, in all points, that is what happens.

Yeah i used the electric kit to trigger Gorans Handy Drums.

The bass is DI into Neural Amp Modeler (Ampeg rig capture) played with fingers.

I do remember the Emmanuelle film(s?) from when I was a spotty teenager but I admit I wasn't focusing on the music so I don't know this song.

No biggie though, enjoyed listening to your version. Love the strings/pads. Has a suitably Gallic feel.

I've never heard this but it sounds great.
I love the sounds throughout that flute sound fits a treat.
