Bloody Mary (Whitesnake cover)

I thought i'd never venture into that Snake territory again, but some of these comments sparked a need to get one thing straight:

Whitesnake was a great band when they were a blues / hard rock band. Before they turned into a hair metal band.

I have this here personal testimony as an evidence:

I was a a huge Whitesnake fan back in the Marsden, Moody, Murray days and sae them live loads of times including a very early gig at the Lyceum Ballroom. 

And to get the point across let's show the jury this good natured, but borderline confusing commentary by Mr. Bluesberry:

Did somebody mention spandex.......are we still doing that?

No! They were more like Thin Lizzy. Then they went all poodleperm. So no. For once. Just wear your jeans like a cowboy! You'll like it.

So the verdict is. It's not hair metal! And the last piece of evidence is this cover that i winged together yesterday.

All played live. Including the drums. So the whole song is one shakey pudding bursting at the seams.

I admit that all the hair and costumes really never did anything for me in any era of rock.  Not that I have anything against it per se.  For me I really appreciated bands that could just rock your socks off and make you boogie without any gimmicks. 

There were only around 3 Snake songs I heard ever. 

I like what you got going here though... This is get your cowboy boots on after your blue jeans, turn up the guitar and rock like there is no tomorrow....

I need to do stuff like this... it is way more fun...

Yes. Have to agree, for what David Coverdale did with this once great blues rock band he should be charged in a court of law... with something or other! They were great, genuine and real but Dave had his eyes on the great arena circuit of the USA and MTV etc. Ah well.

Cracking bit of rocking out Zoltan... great rocker and super guitar.
