Vocals performed by Vince Fedele. Don't often do covers but vince had an idea for this song.
Myself and keith added music. I wanted to get a "live " feel with this. some great main vocals from vince.

I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

ah..."bain de Jouvence", we loved (with my amateur band) the kinks in the 60's and we played all day and all of the night
in our circle of amateur musicians of the time the Kinks were not far from the Beattles and the Stones

very nice cover that you propose to us
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Nice cover guys, The Kinks were such a great band! Ray Davies was such a unique songwriter for the time, totally different yet equal to the Lennon/McCartney mold. Nice guitar work and harmonies here!

Bluesberry

I love this song.......an example of Ray Davies genius songwriting...no real chorus, just a series of verse sections......masterful songwriting...and one of the first songs he wrote....totally brilliant if you ask me....you have done up a heartfelt version of this great song

Great cover, Darren. I always liked The Kinks back in the day and this was one of my favourites. Excellent production as per usual from you. Those guitars playing the main riff sound so authentic and 60's like.

I completely forgot this was a Kinks song, which makes me want to stab my thigh with a fork.

Great job, especially the bg vox and their level/placement.

Wonderful choice to cover this.

Oh man you guys are bringing back some good memories with this cover! The Kinks were so cool at that time...well they still are. Great cover and yes it does sound live. You've nailed the original guitar sound.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Absolutely brilliant cover from one of my favourite bands. Love the chunky guitars and the way the lead vocals are panned left with the backing vox down the centre. Brilliant stuff!

Loved it. Great choice of song. This is a really ballsy treatment, loved the chunky guitars, loads of personality. Well done chaps and yes indeed Vince stood up to the task and then some on vocals.
