This is what a cover should be. I love the garage rock production of this. It belongs in a soundtrack. I was a little sad at the fade out.

More fuzz.

Sweet cover man! That Fuzz sounds godly (sounds like you could do some Doom metal with it!), JHS makes some great pedals. I own a ZVEX Fuzz Factory which is a pretty crazy sounding Fuzz but it can be dialed back for some more vintage tones. Stellar guitar work and a killer vocal!

This is really cool. It's a brilliant cover version. That fuzz pedal sounds awesome.
Really like your vocals..great drums too.

I hate to bump my own, but i have to because this needs to be replied!

Fuzz Factory is a great one, and it can do proper Hendrix as it's based on Fuzz Face (It's a Fuzz Face on steroids as it's more of a "make your own" Fuzz with all the possibilities of tweaking the settings). One of my favourites. I have the Fat Fuzz Factory which is the same except it has the additional mode switch.

One thing i never understood about the people who whine about Fuzz Factory. The most common whine is "it has too many options". That's what i heard from the guy who sold it to me too... Why... Oh why can't one just select a good setting and let it be? Then it's the same as a regular fuzz.

JHS Superfuzz can do the Townsend (Live at Leeds) and it does in fact have something to do with Hendrix... by proxy! Hillel Slovak (The original Chili Peppers guitarist) used Superfuzz and he used to play a lot of Hendrix stuff especially in the early years..

I am starting to want all the sounds you get... fuzz and ratt... I might be looking for a bit and it may take a while but by golly you might be drawing me toward pedals.

That's got the right feel - love the sound of that fuzz, I can never work those things out. Sounds amazing.

I forgot to say, that's the one I got too! It's very useful to have the additional switching, I especially like the "octave down" setting for a more heavy "Sleep-esque" Doom metal sound. The only thing I have against it is it sometimes picks up the local country music station while I'm playing it! Imagine trying to get the nastiest Fuzz tone possible then hearing the voice of Blake Shelton coming through the Amp...  :-\

Great rework on the classic Hendrix track!  I think Jimi himself would dig this. Sounds like you should've held on a bit longer, though
