Here's an another new gear song, but before participating the fest i think i need to re-do some stuff for this. I got inspired by Ted and wanted to get this fresh out off the oven.

All the sounds except the drums are from Korg Poly-800.

I "sung" it only once and fixed the lyrics now in a way that makes more sense.

Edit: The song is sung from the Guinea Pigs point of view. It's a dark tale of poetic justice.

I dig your keyboard stuff... this particular one fits well just after Christmas as the start of it reminds me a bit of bells...

then this goes all Billy Idol and video game sound... which is very cool btw...

I'm a fool for demos. This is good I like it, yes maybe an Idol vibe but I'm thinking Simple Minds as well. But original no doubt!

I'm pretty much a vegetarian now.

I'm not sure how much weight that will hold when I meet God, and discover it's a Guinea pig.

I will listen to this again later, with headphones. The vocal delivery, and everything else, is very dispassionate, like a judge delivering a verdict. Except for those furious drum fills; they belie the song's judiciousness.

Loving the 80's sounding synth work. Perfect, catchy pop with a strange lyric. Faded out a bit too quickly - I think there's a lot of room in here for extras. Excellent stuff.

I like your arrangement and agree that the drums and bass sound killer. Those synth parts work wonderfully. This has a 80's synthpop throwback feel but still feels current. And, of course, the lyric is great fun. Thanks for making me smile first thing this morning.

Now that what I call playful darkness......holy heck man......spooky as dirt....but it sounds so fun......that's what playful darkness will get you.......hands and knees deep in the dirt.......it'll get your spandex all muddy........believe it or not but I can hear Kenny G saxophone in my head while listening.....playful darkness indeed
