Hi this is a new song i hope people like it if not too late as its being released next week . The song features Ray Brookes who every kindly done the cellos for me, thanks again Ray means so much to me. i am eternally grateful .

Lyrics

New tears fall on old scars
while the world outside tears its self apart
and time is fading fast
Now I can see you're in pain and i don't know what to do
I have no way to rescue you
oh I,   I'm no super hero
But if i was I would save you

Now I've seen the sorrow well up in your eyes
and the courage that it takes to hold back that tide
oh you're my, you're my super hero
and don't you know , how brave you are

There's a tolling bell ringing in my ears
and my hands are too numb to catch every tear
no i I'm so super hero
and if this is to be our final stand
I will fight for you with all that i have
though i I'm no super hero
but i will fight for you
oh i I'm no super hero
still I will fight on for you

Lovely tune. Your voice really suits the tune. I am curious how strings were done. Keyboard? Soft synth? If the latter, was the song on the grid?

Thank you for including lyrics with your post.

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

Sad song performed in suitable manner. The strings just reinforce the sorrowful tone. Well constructed song Trist

The lyrics are a wonderful expression of the love to your subject. The song sounds sad but there is beauty in the way you've presented and produced it. The cellos/strings promote that feeling. Good vocal and the picked acoustic sounds great, well-done Trist!

Pro level song, the writing and especially the singing stand out as great. Peaceful and beautiful and emotional but calming.  I hope the release is as successful as it can be!  Hope to hear more!

Oh, yes, and the strings - spine tingling!

Hi Trist. It's a fabulous song. It has that lullabye feel to the melody, lovely lyrics and vocals. And the music is great. I love those strings from Ray.
