Jeez, what a blast, Ron! Great funky track with cool vocal work and super guitar. Excellent production & mixed to perfection. I can see why this one is a favourite of yours; I'd be proud of it too.

Simply said YOU ROCK.  Love these lyrics...reminds me just a bit of early Eddie Money.

Love those crunchy rhythm guitar sounds... what guitar and effects do you use?

Also the backing vocals excel

Listening again louder.
Patti Smith did a song called 1959.
Its a total rock fest... this feels alot that way to me!

The guitar on the rythm is a custom Telecaster with Humbucker and single coil pick ups. The lead is Sally, my custom hand made guitar. Strat body and headstock, maple fretboard and two single coil pick ups. Both played through a (virtual) Vandal amp

I was trying to find something clever to say about this, but Ron is on such a level that you could just get drown into a one particular detail of the song(s) and get carried away. Whether it's the lyrics, the songwriting, the playing... the production. The works.

Guitar sound wise it's songs like these that make me almost want to start using virtual amps. But then again we all know what it's all about. It's about the playing... Not the gear.
