As my obsession for Alan Wass continues to intensify (lol) I wanted to write a song about him and in the style of his music which is country rock. I have finished writing it and am happy up to this point but i desperately need some help with the Lead Guitar. I just cant play country rock and everything i do to this track seems to kill it. I'm even tempted to just leave it as it is with no lead fill or lead break. I have the sounds of skynard and Keith Richards Country Bluesy Rock lead in my brain but all i seem to play is traditional type lead all thin and weak and it just don't sit right

I desperately need some help if anyone wants to add something lead wise and fill to this track. If you would like to help or feel you can add something then please feel free to hit me up and i can send the track over to you in Wav form or even separate stems.

Any opinions on this would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

Cool song! Great groove, great playing and those vocals are the sugar on top. The lyrics have great lines and the choruses are memorable.

I almost wanted to take it for a spin, but a quick test made it clear that it's better for me to stay away :) It's so laidback & relaxed and my playing is the opposite of that.
I'm sure there are others who'd be able to do it justice.

very good listen, has a real vibe to it. It might need a little sonthing, but for me
I could live with this as is.     Vince

Hi Dan,
This one really feels like a cowboy movie music, and I love it!
Nice vocal recording, and groovy beat as well.
Well done.
I can live with it, as is, as well.

Works well as is but yeah it could be smoking even more with a lead..
Killer groove here though and ultimately that does it for me!

Like the way the music creeps into your ears before the vocal comes in ....it's got a great groove ...infectious

Cool groove and if Ray is involved I am sure he will take it up a notch or two. He always did on my tracks ;-)
