Ever since I met you should come as no surprise
A wave of pure elation has taken over in my mind
Sunshine slowly replaced my summer storm
And brought to me such sweetness to keep my heart so warm
And I don't cry no more
Don't want to die no more

Ever since we met, Babe, there's never been a time
When you've not been first on my mind
Your love is so sublime
You have your ways  to keep me satisfied
Your own little magic spell to keep me felling fine
And I don't cry no more
Don't want to die no more

How did i miss this yesterday? Who ate the memo? I've been going thru JohnBees compositions whenever i need to get into that special place where the life has meaning and there's some depth to it.

The jazzy harmony, those melodies played with brass sounds. Everything is so together in this composition. And that glorious JohnBee vocal sound / performance. Don't EVER change that!

The song manages to walk on the edge of a tightrope of sounding hopeful and while having "darker" themes to it also. Deeper meanings, big feelings. That's what this is all about.

Thanks Zoltan! :) So glad you enjoy my work so much.
Please don't kick yourself for missing it.  Fact is, I only put it up late last night.  :)

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

You have a great and unique style, John. Lovely melodies and chord changes all produced so tastefully.

Not sure which i preferred this morning... my beloved and cherished coffee or the new JB jazzy tune... tough choice so i listen again whilst sipping my java... and while the coffee is black and bitter the music is sweet and the vocals superb...wow

Got that Steely Dan jazziness. Love when the brass comes in. Top notch song writing. Cool JB.
