This is the opener from my album "Outlaw". Semi- autobiographical (I don't have 6 kids). I play all the instruments, including the blues harp (The drums are loops, programming and midi). I used to go to Ray Brookes for blues harp additions, but it became embarrassing asking him all the time, so I learned to play about 5 years ago (and am still learning). I had a real blast doing this one.

well I don't think you missed your rock and roll on this tune Ron!  Infectious toe tapping crunchy raw rock.... kind of southern...kind of California... kind of AC/DC... dunno...it sounds great.
really like the harmonica too...
and the vocals are not overmatched by the great music.

This is tight! Rock on!!! Harp ties the vocals together well into the vocal harmonies. Nice leads as well! 8)

Hi Ron,
Great recording.
You vocals is great, and display the full emotion of the song.
This exhibition of rock and roll original is your show of love and dedication to music!!!
Love this.  Especially the electric guitar solo!!!
Thanks for sharing.

I remember hearing this a while ago, Ron. Great rocker mate and love that harp - what brand do you use? What do you mic it through?

Hook

Badass rocker here. Got some Kiss vibes but the Harp really gives it some diversity. Well done.
Rock on!

It's a fender blues deluxe harp, put through a Dynamic bullet mic, Ray.  And thanks everyone for the comments ;-)

The vocals are superb. The playing is great. I wasn't really grooving along the intro. I felt it was overlong and slightly lazy, but then again... It probably worked for the song because the stuff that followed had even more energy because of this.

After the vocals kick in it's pure bliss!

Love this.  Great rocker!  AC/DC and the Stones with a bit of British Punk in the vocal accent.
