avec René c'est toujours parfait j'aime cette simplicité et cette voix magnifique et je ne siq toujours pas ce que sont toutes ces guitares derriere vous!
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I think the main reason for the lack of comments is that people are speechless after hearing this.
I was half expecting(* an another tired rendition of a Hank Williams song, but what Rene did here is stunning! The song found a new life and Rene made it his own.

(* No, i didn't really expect anything less than greatness from Rene :) There's never been a weak performance that i've heard coming from him. Perhaps there are some early demo's we could hear? wink wink... Just kidding :D

Hi Zoltan
Thank you for the humbling words!!!
The beautiful people here in Songcrafters are very much appreciated!!!
I am still progressing as a Singer/Songwriter and would love to hear comments and feedback. All of us who are striving to improve, we are all longing to hear feedback, and so we continue to support each other!!!
I started (this month) to volunteer to sing in our local Senior Center, once a month.
I am not a professional singer.
I also sing for our local church services, and definitely still wanting to improve on the song and praise volunteer work, as we strive to offer our very best!!!
Thank you for your continued support for all our members here!!!
I want to personally thank you Zoltan for your kindness and generosity!!!
Respectfully,
Rene

It is an amazing performance and sounds unique, somehow alternating between very peaceful and very powerful, and a great rich tone on your voice.  I would love to know more about your setup - mics, recording equipment, and mixing methods (e.g. is compression, eq, reverb added?), because you're getting really good quality for live simultaneous recording of guitar and vocals. Though I can tell that the quality of the performance is the major factor!

Hi des0free,
I love you beautiful comments Des!!!
My set-up is simple.  I love the simplicity of this set-up.
The other thing I added to the effects is the disappearance of the mics, jus barely unseen.
2 - mics; Shure SM58 (for guitar), Ear Trumpet Labs "Edwin" (for vocals)
INTO:  Yamaha MG10FX Mixer ( using room reverb #6, just a tad)
INTO:  UAD Volt 2/76 Audio Interface (built in compressor and vintage mic preamp)
INTO:  IMAC - using Quick Time Player, reccording a movie
Thanks for asking, and for the great feedback!
