To commemorate 45 years since the Sex Pistols busted into the first jubilee I recall, the silver jubilee in 1977, my version.

This weekend in the UK we have the Queen's 70th jubilee, here's my tribute to the song which put the 1977 one into context for me.

I went to the Harley Benton Les Paul for this one. Drums and bass are GarageBand.

Lovely version!
Absolutely great guitar playing.
Thanks for this!

Great.  Brings back memories.  All that;s missing is the Johnny Rotten "growl" ;)

PS-Next you should take on "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister.  ;)

This is the biz.

Yup, only a Les Paul will do for a Pistols song, and you nailed Jonesy's sound here.

Personal aside: I picked up Never Mind the Bollocks... before the first Ramones album, even though I lived in (upstate) New York. I believe it was just after Xmas 1977, or perhaps early 1978? My musical tastes at the time ran toward Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Rush - so it was a real game-changer.

Well done!

Congratulation for the Jubilee!

Sex Pistols were pretty bad asses, but not as bad ass as your signature which I only noticed today:

"Overdrive - Distortion - Hyperactivity

Your version is amazing - spot on. Just not sure I agree you turned Syd Vicious into a Steve Jobs AI  :D

This is good and raucous - and a great tribute to the Queen!

Weird to think it's only a year since we were up to our necks in the Queen's 70th jubilee. Happier times
