love that delayed guitar and that keyboard thing that sounds like a bagpipe for a bit.  "Blessed ignorance is your key"...
gotta listen to the lyrics some more...oh it's a song about the horrible game called politics... careful, you might get removed... this goes into some Rush territory on that rhythm guitar in the background around 3:15....
wicked cool song idea and a very good recording as well..
as with all your songs some real nice little hidden nuggets in the listening sphere as well as the overall grand theme... and your signature lead is great but for the rhythm guitar is king on this (along with the vocals).... and that bonkers wooden toy soldiers beat and singing...cool

Love this. Great production along with excellent lyrics. I'm with Redler on the Talking Heads vibe. Great mixing/arranging skills with every instrument nicely placed and that soaring guitar solo! Oh yeah.

As the song gets going I too hear a bit of The Talking Heads. Love the playing and theeffects on the guitars (delay/echo?). I'll have to listen again to catch more of the lyric. Great vox and backing vox John!
