I was doing this for the 72 fest, but just noticed that the original was recorded in 1972-1973 (and there's probably a demo version of the 72 version somewhere), but it's a hit for the year 1973. So i think it doesn't fit the festival.

Anyway here's a demo. I might improve on it (i'll try to see if guitars would fit), but i also might leave it be. I'm getting a bit bored with it.

As for the gear used. The playing is made with  free Vsti instruments (Tapeotronic,  Funkbass, Monster piano) and the drums are programmed with Jamstix 4 using both Jamstix & Ugritone sounds.

You are right it was a hit in 1973 but it was released in 1972 so it would work for the festival I was trying to do it with a guitar using the way pedal I like your version very much well done

wicked cool bass sound... has that Hartke speaker sound the one they use a sub and higher freq speakers and crossover to the speakers... that got real popular for a while with actual bass guitars and then the keyboards had it on it and so began the keyboard bass revolution... ha...

loving the vocals on here a lot... you may not think so but you are a radio voice imo.... super...
swingin groove too... what I like about you is that you make a big variety of music and put a lot of bells and whistles in... obviously you are having a blast and that is the most important thing and it shines through in your music.

Wicked Sly/Stone song, I've never heard this one before (only really know a few songs from the band) but you covered very well. Wicked slap bass and excellent keys and vocals.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Hi Zoltan,
Great vocals.
I am jealous of your ability to use all these gear that you are using.
I miss the guitars.

Wasn't familiar with the song title, but when listened to it, ah...this was this :)

Nice groove with excellent singing and playing. The bass tone is mellow!
