Greeny introduced the As I Am band, and here's our second demo, the eponimous song.
Demo means just that is me mixing (so it will suck, guaranteed), and that we're doing it as if it was a live recording or a rehearsal, so errors allowed, nothing complex, nothing perfect etc etc. - nevertheless I didnt resist and added some subtle saxophones here and there LoL (don't tell them!)
I am on el guitar and singing, well everyone is singing, Cecilia on piano, Marco on drums and Tim on bass, Mike is speaking some words at the end.

the music is super good but for me i am really digging the vocals...not sure why but it reminds me of the great 70's band "America" and they were top notch... also listening again... could almost be a Simply Red kind of song...
lovely piano work and the drums drive a very tight rhythm....

Great collab guys! A real funky retro soul vibe that is SO enjoyable! Vocals from all are outstanding and love that piano and drums!

One small note however, it seems the mixing was a little hot starting out with maybe some overdriven distortion in the vocals? Didn't notice it after that however. Great job overall!

Totally love it. It's a real heart melter... beautifully done. Loving everything really.... the guitar, the piano, bass... and the shared vocal parts work great, splitting the parts with different voices. Love it.
