Another collab. from The Cuzn's. called California Scheming. About the lyric: This is the first time in California's history that the state has had a population decrease. People are leaving for several reasons but mainly because the cost of living and taxes are out of control. So I wrote a tongue in cheek lyric about it.

This is another great collaboration guys. I like the tongue in cheek style of the lyric, excellent music, loved it all. Had a Rolling Stones, ZZ top sound to me. Great rocking track, and really nice vocals.

wow...really love this too...the lyrics are so cool and seemingly true... I live in California from late 81 to late 83 and loved it back then...(Bay area).... but i doubt seriously I would ever go back for any reason whatsoever...  more rock and roll here...good rock and roll

Absolutely loving the vibe on this one, what a brilliant arrangement and fantastic musicianship. It's really cleverly put together and sounds fantastic, and Lorne's lead is smoking hot! Your lyrics are brilliant and really fun, and the vocal fits really well with the backer. Fabulous stuff.

And as someone that lived in the Bay Area for two years, I hear where you're coming from! Mind you, I also know Texas fairly well, I used to work for a company based in Houston and did many trips out there. I know which I would choose.......

Awesome track. Love those sharp, tough and cheek lyrics and great music along with it. Gives me a bit of a 2000's era McCartney rocker vibe in the intro and verses. Love those vocals.
