LOVE IN VAIN, tribute to Robert Johnson, clapton and Stones ,..and Chrisnickey64

UPDATE with new video reloded

Lately I've been very interested in this Robert Johnson blues "Love in vain"
it's an absolute standard of blues.(introduced in 2011 at the Blues All of Fame of the Blues Foundation .. and I only found one version on SC, in 2010 by Chrisnickey64 (absent on Sc since 2017, what happened to it?)
An EXCELLENT version that I advise you to listen very much in the spirit of the original version by Robert Johnson

This song was replayed by a lot of guys...on You tube I found 68 covers of this song!
In fact, we can find two covers that have themselves become standards
Clapton's, very much in the spirit of the original version
the one of the Stones found in the 1969 Let it bleed record, which sounds much more "country".
I picked up this version simply because I was happy to play: vocals, guitar, Dobro (actually weissenborn), bass and harmonica 

PS I also found a French comic strip  "Love in vain" (translated into 8 languages)  which tells the (tragic) story of Robert Johnson and that I leaf through for you in the video on You tube, here

they say the blues is the music of the devil!...I don't know if this is the best time of the year for my tribute to R Johnson?

The authors Mezzo and Jean Michel Dupont answered me by email that yes, there is an English version edited by Faber and Faber and that you can find on amazon
