"Caoineadh Cú Chulainn" (Lament)
A lament made up of Bill Whelan in 1994 for his show "Riverdance", about a hero of ancient Irish legends.

I play on my new Weissenborn guitar tuned in GBDGBD, and also a litlle bit  with wisthle Low D

For the occasion I reconnected my midi keyboard to make a background of strings turn around the chord of G tone

I really like Irish music and it goes very well with the weissenborn guitar

thank for your listening
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Man that Weissenborn has such a tasty sound and you've really got a nice little number here. I'll have to try the GBDGBD tuning. The Tin whistle adds a smooth Irish feel. I have a Clarke's D tuned wooden reed somewhere around here. Nice job JP.

It's a bump particularly for Mike_S

I listened to the version that Mike put in the topic what are you listening right now ( by Davy Spillane...and I thought this tune is really too beautiful,...I would have to do a cover with my weissenborn...but I had already done it in February 2017 and I didn't remember it (if that's not Helzheimer, is it not Alfredo) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
