You could cover that famous Bob Dylan hit about ants. You know...

"The ants are my friends, they're blowin' in the wind.
The ants are just blowin' in the wind."

Re: anchovies...  ;D

Pasta with anchovies (old traditional Sicilian recipe, very simple, very tasty. I've cooked it just yesterday...)

In a little pan put some anchovies, olive oil  and a clove of garlic. Low flame, till the anchovies are melted off, and the whole has a light brown color (3-4 minutes).

In a second little pan put some crumbled bread, again at low flame, till it is lightly toasted (again, not more than 4-5 minutes)

Cook the pasta (better bucatini or spaghetti) in salted water (AL DENTE!!!), drain it, put the anchovies etc over it, then the crumbled bread, mix everything and...that's all!

In our tradition it was a "poor" dish, for people who couldn't afford the expense of grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta.

Ted

I just discovered this thread, and was honored to find I was featured once or twice.

I miss Tony too. He broke up with me. I deserved it.
