I haven't had much time of late for writing or recording music, so this is the first new one in a while.

I also may be affected by my upcoming trip to Finland, in that I am too scared to write, in case the well dries up and when I get there and I have nothing to offer my fellow Songcrafters.

That said, I would quite like to redo this at the upcoming Met, so when I post the lyrics i will also include the chords too. I think this could be quite uplifting (not as dirgey as my version) performed by proper musicians and male and female vocals and harmonies.

For this one I had the chords and lyrics prepared before i recorded anything. Today was the first day i have had a guitar in my hand for ages. Once i had an idea of the song structure, I created a drum track using DrumJam. I then played my jasmine electro acoustic through my irig hd2, then recorded (for me) a very dry vocal with little or no effects using my micro br as a mic to a mono track. I then played the same chord pattern on my woollies strat, through the irig hd2 and finally the bass on my epiphone sg bass guitar. It was all done very quickly, but I didn't want to spend too much time on it as it is intended as a rough sketch for the Finland MET.

For my MET colleagues regarding the chords. At the lalala part i play a C but then move the C shape up two frets but not bar chorded (if that makes sense). Hope you guys are up for turning this one around.
