This is my take on Procul Harem's classic. I was a couple of months old when it came out & I've always loved it.

2 x tracks of open acoustic chords (DI & mic'd up) - panned left
2 x tracks of capo'd acoustic chords (DI & mic'd up) - panned right
No-name bass
Cakewalk SI drums
1 x track of slide on the tele, doubled up & time shifted slightly, then panned L/R
1 x track of mic'd up acoustic lead (with a little harmony part at the end of the intro)

That was a nice treat over my lunchtime, Johnny. There's a lovely lot of space in the production and all the instruments sit nicely. And great playing, as usual.

Truthfully it's now on my keep list -

Thank you Tommy, mine too. Not quite as high up the list as Unchained Melody, but still.

And I agree that doesn't take away from Johnny's excellent and enjoyable version.
