I remember seeing them do this on OGWT and thinking WTF!! I had a copy of Ten Legendary Texan Tales by then, and that's kinda the ZZ Top I knew. I also had Deguello and loved Cheap Sunglasses. But I had no idea how they would sound/look/feel live... Then I saw this performance - WOW! (btw - there's a dvd called Doubledown Live of their Rockpalast gigs. Disk 1 is 1980, same tour as the OGWT appearance, it's the whole live set, it is absolutely STUNNING... you can find it on youtube)

Anyhoo - you've nailed the live ZZ Top vibe of this one. Classy

This was one of the few songs I ever bothered to learn on guitar because I loved it so much. And I loved that performance on OGWT. So I know this song well, and this is a truly wonderful version here Nick, I'm really impressed. Really close to the original and I'm amazed how you got the drums so close to the original. The guitar work is superb, and your vox sound great. A wonderful listen and a great bump due to Dusty's demise.

oh hell yeah!  this is no cheap cover that is for sure....that guitar sounds amazing...you played it so great...and your vocals are excellent as well...one of my favorite bands.. I especially loved this album and all the ones up to that point...they were still good after just a bit (quite a bit)more commercial...
