BossBR.net's Golden Oldies
Early BossBR.net (microrecorders.org) Jukebox & Song Index
As suggested by Greeny in this message (https://songcrafters.org/forum/micro-br-b65/tribute-to-thomas-hansen-aka-st-thomas/msg44559/#msg44559), here's a new web page containing many of the songs posted in the site's first three months (Dec 16, 2007 to March 16, 2008).
https://songcrafters.org/Festivals/Early%20BossBR.html (https://songcrafters.org/Festivals/Early%20BossBR.html)
Of course, it wasn't BossBR.net then - it was microrecorders.org.
There are lots of great songs. My personal favourite is "Caledonia" by Ronniejm. What a great recording! I also like "Head Over Heels" by antisocialworker. And, of course, there are lots of great songs by familiar names like oldrottenhead, admin, guitarron, LESTG, and others, plus a few names we don't see much anymore.
So check out the Early BossBR.net Jukebox & Song Index (https://songcrafters.org/Festivals/Early%20BossBR.html) page, click the Play button, then sit back and enjoy the music!
Nice work, 64. You're the man!
Excellent work ... was wondering what to fill that empty space on mah iPod with.
Great stuff 64G, nice to hear some of Pedro's work after all his hard work on the site. Thanks for this.
Cheers,
Nigel
Lots of great stuff but I'm particualrly loving 13STARZ Into The Fire, great production values there.
this is really cool 64
Nice one, great to hear some of the pioneers of this site
Added some more songs today. I think that's pretty much everything for the first three months. If anyone finds any songs from that period that I've missed, let me know and I'll add them. There were a few posts that I intentionally skipped. Mostly because they were incomplete, or they sounded like quick, one-off jams rather than planned songs. But I may have missed some proper songs too. So, if you find any, let me know.

That was a great compilation - saved me a pile of work. I dig back when I get the chance, but it's time consuming. Thanks a bunch.
Now.... (In my groveling, humble voice) Where did you get that mp3 jukebox thing? I want that ;)

Pretty cool 64! I remember exactly when and where I bought mine. Was Dec 31, 2007 in Atlanta GA at their guitar center. I was driving OTR truck at the time. Bought the recorder and my Epi LP Special II.
My life has hasn't been the same since lol

It's actually just a different version of the MP3 player that the site is already using.
http://flash-mp3-player.net/ (http://flash-mp3-player.net/)
However, you'll need to create an HTML page to use it. There's currently no way to embed the "Multi" version of the MP3 player in a message here. I sent Pedro a PM a month ago, asking if he could make this Multi player available in messages, but I didn't get a reply. I think it would be great if each member had the option of creating a message under "General Discussion/Introduce Yourself!" that included the Multi version of the MP3 player. They could include all of their posted songs in the player. Then, each time they post a new song, they could edit their "Introduce Yourself" message to add the new song to the player. What do you think, Pedro? Is this possible?
Meanwhile, if you're familiar with HTML, you can create a web page offsite and embed the Multi player as I have done. Take a look at the HTML source of my Woodstock (https://songcrafters.org/Festivals/Woodstock%20jukebox.html) or Golden Oldies (https://songcrafters.org/Festivals/Early%20BossBR.html) pages to see how I did it. The section labeled "Jukebox Data" is all you need to worry about. There's also some documentation on the Multi player web page (http://flash-mp3-player.net/players/multi/documentation/).

That's what I was thinking about - similar to what you've done on your site. I haven't looked into all the details, but thanks so much for helping me. I was planning on creating a website that played songs that I have done by myself and with other people here. I know there's myspace and soundclick, but that's just another hassle. Extra clicks and advertisements - Ugh!!This is the only forum site I regularly go to. Everything else is second best :D
Thanks, man!
Mark
!! Fabulous !!
i bumped into this seems like yesterday
You bumped into it or it bumped into you? And was it yesterday or two days before tomorow. Fine music knows no time limit.
Anybody got a copy of Pedro's first song?

Unfortunately, he deleted the attachment so it no longer plays in the Golden Oldies jukebox. If you can find it in your archives of downloaded songs, please send it to me so I can add it back to the jukebox. I don't know what the filename was but it should be dated around December 16, 2007.

I'd still love to get a copy of this file if anyone has it. I've learned that the filename was "lifes_subtilty.mp3" and the size was 2786.49 KB. Anyone got a copy?
I updated the Golden Oldies (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?action=festival;sa=GoldenOldies) jukebox today, adding the new HTML5 mp3 player. While I was at it, I did another search and found 39 more songs from the first three months of Songcrafters (then known as microrecorders.org). That's more than double the number of songs (33) that were previously in the jukebox, so check it out.
