Two songs in one. The first segues into the second. I originally wrote and recorded this in 2016 but just remixed it recently. Enjoy!

Very nice John.
Both songs are wonderful with cleverly constructed melodies. The second reminds me a bit of the Beatles (and you know that can't be bad in my book)
Well done. Keep them coming
A hidden gem. Your songs are always well produced and performed.
I like the 2 tracks in one. Blended in nicely.
Another catchy song. And relaxing to listen to.
really nice production yes I hear beetle influences in this song cool concept with the two songs

The day has taken its toll on me. I came here just to get some of my energy back, but this really needs to be heard while wearing headphones. Preferably when walking outside.
I shall revisit this one :)
Lately my walks have been shared with either The Alan Parsons Project and/or JohnBee.
A wonderful piece of music that I've come to expect from you. Played and produced to the very highest standard. Willie
When the song started off with just the slow piano I thought that sounded great but had no idea how it would take off when the bass and drums entered...well done there! Excellent lyrics, lead vocal, melodies and harmonies. I kept listening in anticipation for the transition into the second song. You have a lot of cool changes in this song so I thought I heard it about 3 times before the solid move to the second song at about 4 minutes. Very creative and seamless John!
Great medley - of songs that seem to be made for each other. So imaginative, John.

Stellar melodies here, you have a very unique of singing over chords (and what beautiful sequences they are!). I really love the prog-pop vibe of this song too, I can hear elements of Klaatu especially in the second main section. I love this John!
This has some really fine melodic lines. Like the backing vocals, reminds me slightly of Supertramp.
Yup, a real good one...or is that two.....it's a slice of jazz//prog/pop perfection...I'm sitting in my chair, looking out the window at the newly fallen snow.......and feeling very mellowed by the greatness of this wonderful song....wonderful from start to finish
Beautiful music, John. Captivating melodies and interesting arrangements.

Alan Parsons Project is a personal favorite of mine....
It sucks
that I can't figure out how to talk about this song.... I did really enjoy the lyrics just as a read. I can relate.
Being an emotive person, as I am, is not easy. There are many rewards though... and the song describes some of those... and also the ease at which we fall into the seeming grievances with things that don't go as we wish...
overall, the track has a wonderful and lovely feel... when delved into deeper it is a melancholic journey into the uncomfortable subject of feeling alone.... sometimes I am alone and feel like perfect... other times I am with a thousand people and feel alone... truthfully, these days I like being alone... and people don't like that... but I do...
I appreciate this site and songs like this John.... we connect from a very different places... even thousands of miles... that is special... thank you for letting me in there!
Merry Christmas!
Two well composed pieces of music - a nice mellow sound that takes me back to my younger days.

Wow! You guys are all so great! I appreciate your listening and feedback.
I plan on reviewing more of your tunes a little later but I just wanted to duck in and tell you all how grateful I am for your kind words.

Well constructed and performed with a lovely melody
