Wild Flowers
Lyric/vocals and mandolin by Greeny
Bass, ambient and whistle synth and production by Flash Harry
Backing vocals by Ella
Two tracks of classical guitar and music written by Redler
This a track that I have work with for long time - not with recording, but thinking to which direction I'm taking it, what is the structure etc. I got idea to this by listening More album by Pink Floyd and thought it needs "a lots of organ", but then I said to Päivi, would she hum something on the background and it was a good decision. It turned more to folk genre. Great work, honey 9{}
It's a big honor to work with such a Songcrafter legends like Mike and Tim! Mike put really fine additions with synths. The bass sounds so good on the background and production is top class.
Tim's lyric and vocals fit like a glove to the atmosphere of the song. So fine work. I've always liked your skills on each part of songwriting/performing/recording. The mandolin puts a tasty flavor to this - excellent idea!
Thanks so much to everyone and thanks for listening!
I'm happy man now and push send button :D
This was an absolute honour and a pleasure.
Fantastic work by all involved! This final mix is so pleasing to my ears.....wow!

I sat here in silence and watched this evolve and now I'm sat here in silence in awe of what you have all done. Its sublime. Every single one of you had tapped in and found a perfect place to show your skills and artistic brilliance.
It's why I come here. There's not an ego amongst you and I'm stunned each time by how willing everyone is here to jump in and collaborate and help evolve a song as if it were their own.
I don't feel worthy to be among you all but I feel so lucky.
Absolutely gorgeous - stellar collab, folks.
braw brothers, did we hit on the same melody Tim?
This is stunning. A lovely track, wistful and definitely folk-tinged. So many delicate touches, the guitar and mandolin create just the right backdrop for the vox. The lyrics are fabulous, kind of XTC meets Roy Harper, such great imagery. I love the synth touches and the backing vox are so ethereal. It's quite lovely, and so different as well.
Bravo everyone. This is one to treasure.
This was flipping fantastic. Te instrumentation reminds me of the band Renaissance, and the lyrics and vocals are unconsciously unique. Love that ethereal reverbed voice in the background. Great mix as well. Were any birds injured in the making of this epic?
Super, super impressed.

I was wondering that when listening - I think that melody is hiding in Ella's vocal, it's certainly on the ending... and then it almost feels like it's hiding in the acoustic guitars.
Sometimes stuff just writes itself, it goes where it has to go, we just have to guide and coax it...
Whatever...
This is gorgeous.
Well done everyone, it's fab.
This became beautiful and peaceful song. Is there some Irish vibe? Or is it Scottish? ;D Anyway, very beautiful. Mandolin fits so well and mix is great. I was just an instrument in Kari´s hands. 8) Kari is the creator, the wizard. And no...we didn´t hurt birds. I think they liked it. :D

Guys... this was just what I needed. I am slightly hungover and not really feeling up for much today, but this has suddenly altered my mood. It's given me the will to carry on today!! So, so good. I saw that this collaboration was bubbling away a few days ago but haven't gotten round to listening till now.
I can't really add much more to what's been said. I concur with all the comments, it's just gorgeous. Only thing I might add is just to mention the production which is bloody marvellous. Fantastic.
Mike
Everything fits just perfectly - I wanted to get mine to the graveside too but just couldn't get there . . .
I like the deliberate turn in the vocal phrase too Tim.
Really love this! It's a great track filled with excellent musicianship, but my favorite part is the collaborative skill set that was displayed here. The ability to jump in and help manifest what was already great into something fantastic is a fine achievement.
You guys are awesome!
wow! As a very energetic person I really need this kind of music to balance me out....bring me back into a good state...really fantastic....thank you...and this will be on my playlist...

wow...the signal is so big....great work...and nice scenery...I shared on fb...
So visual and expressive, even before seeing the video. The music is perfectly suited to the beautifully melancholy lyric. Just beautiful work by all involved.
All the years that this group has put in is paying off here, well done guys. A powerful song that can be extremely peaceful, brilliant.
I'm just going to so make it short, and say all of you did a fantastic job on this one and I'm glad I got a chance to hear it!
A magnificent work. The lyrics alone are exquisitely poetic and the whole musical dimension is staggering; at once in simplicity then also in complexity. Those vocal phrases by Ella, particularly at the closing of the track sound so beautiful like as if they've floated down from heaven or something and that mandolin is a lovely touch. Great work, guys; well done.
Missed this one but so glad I've got to hear this absolutely wonderful collab. Folk, prog or any other genre I don't care this is just an uplifting and terrific listen, well done all involved big respect, classic songcrafters!!
Beautiful. Creates a haunting but peaceful atmosphere. Reminds me of a Fogelberg song, "Song From Half Mountain" on his "Souvenirs" album.

In case the folks making this read this and care.... and I know that I already commented twice on this but I had to share this...this afternoon I finally had the house to myself and an hour or so to listen to music. So I cranked up my triamped 4000 watt PA (not because I need it but because I can...lol). I didn't have it blaring but really nice listening level...I have to say this piece was fantastic with my subs and 7 foot speaker towers...the quality of everything is noteworthy...
and really I have to admit that I loved every songcrafters piece I heard as they played through my system.
I feel "bloody fortunate" to have stumbled onto this site... I found it by searching for "how to change a hard drive on a BR1600CD!
Thanks for this great song....blessings!
Don't know how I missed this. A Simply stunning song and collaboration!
Beautiful vocal Tim and some great adds to an already beautiful track...I completly missed it.....
