Can't listen at work, I'll give it a go when I get home :)

This song has got to be way up there near the top of all-time sad songs and this is a mighty fine version.

I agree, one of the saddest songs of all time.  I can't listen at work either, not because I'm not allowed but because I'm worried about the effect it will have on me!

I listened to the first few bars and I can tell you've done a great job with it.

I don't think I've heard this in 30 years (at least). Lovely version. Fine singing on this.

Aww... that's an excellent version :)

I find it's one of those songs (McCartney's Long and Winding Road is another) that can really easily turn into a boring moaning/whining dirge... (that's what it sounds like when I do it!! :D) ... but you've really pulled this one off.

Excellent stuff.

Aw, quite superb.
Wonderful vocal & accompaniment.
You're a star, sir.  8)

My parents were crooner-nuts, and I've always listened to the Dean Martin version of this song, which shall we say is somewhat more (ahem), laid back.

Well done. 8)

I'm familiar with the Finnish version of this. Remember it when I was little...blast from the past!

Really fine performance, Alex! You sing this really well! Your voice fits nicely on the song like this! Excellent take!

Nope, still can't get all the way to the end.  Too sad.

Which is a testament to how great a job you did.

This really is heartbreaking. I heard Finnish version so many times, when I was kid, I can still remember words. Song was in Finnish "Hän" it means She. Great job Alex!
