It was a weird week, trying to balance work and fun. I was especially annoyed with how trivial Friday went until we hit the basement. On a side note, in the last decade, I sorta stopped drinking....... Mark cured me.
Beer unlocks the pent-up musical soul!! I just aided the process 8)
Hot damn this is good guys. Really great to hear you belt one out Tony. stuttering, staggering, lurching with a huge heart and soul......this is a kind of soul music. I can almost hear the wide open midwestern prairie here, cattle clomping around. Its almost a strange blues of sorts. Very cool sounding.

Not much of a gambler, are you?
I love the (unintended) Zappa-esqe quality to this.
Hang on... just had to put my pint down to type, lol.
I really dig this. Reminds me of the White Stripes' brand of lo-fi, ramshackle blues - and in a very good way. The recurring acoustic lead riff is brilliant, and I love the way it locks into a stuttering groove with the vocal and drum. Cool production too... it floats into a different place with that sweet acoustic solo at the end.
The boys done good!
p.s. Stopped drinking? Forever? What's the secret cure that Mark's packing?!

a couple 18 packs of budweiser and a significant lack of motivation!
Honestly though, I wasn't a very good drunk. I woke up one day with one too many regrets, and realized that remorse and intoxication were hand in hand. To give one up, I needed to give up the other. Now I've matured, I can handle a good buzz, but it's a rare occasion.
This is a Real Good Nut!
The Soloing... The Quirky Vocal Melody... The Lyrics!
Superb Wrong-Song!
unique and satisfying in it's awkwardness.

Wait! That got you to
resume drinking?
Bloody brilliant!
And a name check! Gotta be a winner!
Have you got Henwrench in that basement with you? There's a real off kilter edge here that just works so well. Very different guys and agree with Tim, a definite hint of White Stripes (and quite a lot of Red Stripe!). Love that change section as well and the way it ends on that acoustic riff.
Cheersa,
Nigel
A Booze flavoured masterpeice! ;D

This is anyways a fab tune, and great to be reminded of. I can almost see you guys sitting there recording this !!
Like Nigel I can hear some Henny influence, but it's still uniquely US MET quality work !!
