Well here`s a different one from me...From Metalhead to Mushyhead! ;D

Here`s the closest i`ve come to a love song. I wrote all the the music and some words last year. I finished it last week and decided to record it.

Know? 2011
All done by Gnasty
             Vocals: Gnasty...damn harmonies!! :D
             Stand alone recorder with broken button: MBR
              Guitars: Ovation acoustic and Ibanez FGM
               Percussion: Cheap maracas and stick club thingys from Cuba
                Production tactics done in Audicity

I`ve reached the climax, i need to know

You need to know that i am with you, every step of the way
You need to know that i will give you, more than words can ever say
You need to know that i`m impatient, but waiting patiently
You need to know your in the background, in the foreground i wanna see

We cast aside the lies, and all hard truths and many endless tries
We wish them all way, but they come back to haunt us day to day
What`s the point in living in the past, with too many good days to go
We`ve reached the climax we need to know

Tasty acoustic finger picking, and those harmonics are sweet.

As for your vocal, all I can say is it is stunning, there is a lovely warm tone to your voice, and those harmonies came out superb.

I love the way you have kept it simple too, but when you can create an acoustic melody like this, and then produce a vocal to match, then its all you need sometimes.

The song has to be one of your finest, I am listening to it for the second time as I type this, and its just getting better all the time.

Classy tune excellent acoustic guitar and vox, but it,s the sentiment that makes the tune, a really fitting birthday present I,m sure she,ll like it, excellent work!!

This was EXCELLENT!!! Nice acoustic work, melody flowed nicely with the progression, lyrics with the proper amount of mushiness! :)

What a seriously Impressive Song!!!!!!!!

Your Voice sounds Amazing!

And the arrangement just makes you want to hear it again and again!



It is Like the Foo Fighters had a baby with the Goo Goo Dolls!


It is one of those "That was a fast 3 mins..." songs....

Eric, serious talent here, very well done!
You sure do know how to play guitar, those chord changes are real sweet, reminds me a bit of acoustic Alex Lifeson.
As always the vox is the top, your quite a vocalist too. All with an mbr? hmmm... man, amazing!

I was hooked from the opening guitar notes - beautiful and exotic. At about 2 minutes this takes a turn toward Guns and Roses territory - a powerful transition. Great song, best I've heard today.

Seriously Eric, this is nothing short of incredible. The guitar chops are fantastic, but that vocal delivery was amazing. I got shivers listening to this. Awesome.

By the way, I loved the production on this.

Incredible guitar work. The intricate playing and ringing harmonics had me from the start. And the vocal is wonderful too. This is such a beautifully-realised and wonderful song. A real pleasure to listen to. You're mining diamonds here. Can you tell I'm impressed?!

Fantastic song - it is all great but the vocals are the standout for me, great performance and well recorded - which, as we all know, is not easy to do!  Killer song!

It just blows me away when I listen to some of the songs and the talent resident on this board.............so much better than what you get on commercial radio........and this is ONE GREAT SONG!  Beautifully written, sung and played.  Great job!

Wow Eric, this is absolutely stunning! Not mushy head, brilliant acoustic and world domination head - this would deserve to be a huge hit IMO. Fabulous guitar parts, I love that little trill you do in the LH channel guitar, and the whole thing just builds sublimely. This is really, really well put together and sounds absolutely fantasic. The lyrics are really good as well.

A very big "WOW" from me. Very well done.

You sure kinda know me Black Mary...The music for this was written as a power ballad but not knowing how it was going to turn out when i recorded last week , i like the ending a lot and i`m happy as is. . The song is a question.

I could always write a part II for it though...Thanks again for the great comments!!!
