Hi all!

I wrote a song and thought that keyboards would be good addition for it, but then Ella did background humming on it. The main thing is lyric and voice what will be needed. Maybe something to the intro, too...feel free...

I played this in the last weekend at the cabin and recorded some bird singing at the end, mixed with Ella's voice. So, if someone would inspire with this, perhaps with "a topic with nature", I'd like to make a video of the song. I got material of Finnish nature on my phone - pics and videos. The nature is just start to bloom here right now.

I didn't know to who, I would offer this. So here it is open forever...

Wav track is available, of course.

Its a lovely track itself the way it is.
I think  it would be difficult to slot a full vocal in there but not impossible.
Its a very relaxing piece.
Well done you two

Have added a vocal and a dash of mandolin. Hopefully a union of British and Finnish folk.

I'm entranced by this track. It really feels like something from the soundtrack of the original 'Wicker Man'... especially 'Willow's Song'. And it did stand alone as an instrumental. Hope I haven't spoiled it.

Wildflowers

I am the sky - blue rafters as your ceiling
I am the grass - tousled by the breeze
I am the moon for the owl's quiet hunting
I am initials - carved upon a tree

I am the sun - shining through the petals
I am the rain that glistens on the sheep
I am the sound of the slowly moving river
I am the wind that rocks your mind to sleep

I am wildflowers
Lain upon your grave
In the summertime
How many ones have passed?

I am the birds - brawling in the treetops
I am the water - carved white by the mill
I am the stars - encrusted in the velvet
I am the sheep - adrift upon the hill

I am wildflowers
Lain upon your grave
In the summertime
How many ones have passed?

I am the viking - buried with his armour
I am the seasons - turning like a wheel...

Flash Harry is working on a proper mix... stay tuned...

Just recorded a vocal in sleepover at work. But out in the sticks with no bandwidth to send it might add some synth tomorrow evening when I get home. Have deliberately not listened to Tim's take on it.
