Well, the Rory's on order :)

BB - some of the songs on the later half of the studio album don't feel quite as good as the opening. This is partly because they are all very familiar in their three-piece format from Photo Finish. Also, it sounds like Rod D'Eath hadn't quite figured out how to play them in places. They're OK, but seem like works in progress - which kind of fits with Rory scrapping the project.

The live album is a stunner - it's with the new, at the time, three-piece. He's definitely moved into metal-Rory territory, so it's most similar to Stagestruck, but that's the band I first saw, and it's gorgeous.

I'll definitely be getting the PJ Harvey as well, probably the Fleet Foxes as well. And I can hardly wait for the Vintage Trouble release. ORH (OBEH? :D) is right, the front man is incredible. We got Aloe Blacc's album on the strength of seeing him on Graham Norton, and I was a little disappointed - I don't think he's captured it in the studio. But the whole package on Vintage Trouble's album is fantastic, what a voice the man has...
