I like the song - the composition and arrangement as well as the vocals. I think I understand what "classwarrior" is hearing, but to me your performance sounds very adequate, and I would not think about changing anything. The first take is usually the best one. All subsequent takes are just attempts to recreate the feel while at the same time improving some spots technically - which is a complete contradiction to me. You cannot feel a song if you have to concentrate on the technique.

This is a really well done and very artistic.  Great tune and
I hate making comparisons but what the heck ... the beginning
reminds me of classic Brian Jones era Rolling Stones.  This
tune is excellent.
