It's been awhile. I've been preoccupied with my band... which incidentally is going really well. Once we have some solid recordings I'll be sure to post them here for some feedback.

Here is a little number I put together over the past couple of days. It's something I started months ago and stumbled across on my MBR just the other day. I felt like it had potential so I started working on it. I'm not sure if it will be a good fit for the band, perhaps down the road, so for now I'd like to share with the community and see what everyone thinks of it.

I didn't write a bass line for it because, if we do end up using it for the band we now have a very talented bass player which I feel could do a much better job than me.

The title is a silly cliche I heard for the first time recently. It made me laugh.

I hope everyone on the forum is doing well.

I always dig the way you layer guitars with such a melodic ear and attention to detail, and this is no exception. Excellent work. The word 'lush' has already been used, but I have to agree with it. And a typically excellent ORH addition shows just how great this is as a base track. You're a better player than me, but I always hear the same influences and interweaving layers that I try on my own stuff. This actually sounds like it should be a Jemima's Kite track! Lovely stuff again.
