I've always been a sucker for a good pair of bongos :-)
I really like the intimate feeling of this song. Who is Queen Josaphine?

Great song, love the clean uncluttered recording.

Lovely melodic beat with the bongos, cool acoustic work and a great vocal.

Would love to hear this live, bet it goes down a storm!!

Thanks, everyone for listening!
Tom - Josephine is our daughter. I started writing this when she was about 2. She had been walking for just a few months (like a lot of premature babies, she was late to do many things) and she was doing a lot of exploring. I shelved the song for a few years - couldn't figure out what to do after the first bridge.
Then we moved from Ohio to Florida and the rest of the song fell into place. Usually, if a song doesn't work right away, I get rid of it and move onto something else. But I had to finish this one.
Now, she often refers to herself as "Queen Josephine." We have her enrolled in drama classes, but she doesn't need too much help being dramatic.
