Hi there!  My friend Elisa posted one of the other songs that we've recorded, for this album we are working on a while ago, called Winter Nights.

This is the next one we did, anyway.

"I dropped by to say hello
Wearing my best attempt at self-respect,
wasn't real convincing.
To my disappointment,
You looked like a brand new girl,
Genuinely happy.

I've been trying not to think about
All your new adventures
I don't want any new friends.
And I'm not asking for an award,
But I've been setting record times
To the bottom of the bottle.
I guess I'd settle for some sleep.

I think the hardest part to swallow,
is how resolute you are
in your celebration
of ending the best thing I ever felt.
Is this the twilight zone?
Why am I still in love with you?
How do you make this look so easy?"

Geir

WOW ... what a way to introduce yourself !!! This is superb !!

I love the rhythm of the guitar and how the additional guitars come in with that melodic bridge.  FANTASTIC song !!!

I would have loved to have the vocal a bit more upfront tho'. Your voice sounds great, so there's nothing to hide !

On my third listen now as I download it for further listens!!

Very nicely done. Great rhythmic playing and feel on the guitar, and I very much like the laid-back, understated vocal. This is very 'current' sounding stuff - it's right on the pulse of what's happening out there at the moment. Great work. This should do well if you pitch it at the right people.

Wow! This is really good. I concur with Geir about the vox needing to be "just a bit" up in the mix. The voice so well with this that you should hear it!

Oh yeah... and it's too short! ;)

Ferryman_1957

Superb acoustic playing, fantastic sounds and great arrangement. Nice lyrics as well, great work. The vox are a bit lost, they sound very good but are way too quiet for me.

Cheers,

Nigel

So clean and brilliant - I love it! The vox are great, you should bring them up more in the mix.
