Here's another fancy drum machine that's a bit closer to being affordable ($599 US).

That GR-55 blows my GR-20 out of the water. The amp modeler section sounds fantastic, which was sorely lacking in the 20. The usb stick was a very nice addition.

That RC-30 looks very interesting, I am going to have to check that out.  I have a RC-2 and love it but it is kind of limited.  But for looper pedals you can't beat boss.

The GR-55 has looping built in too, so you wouldn't need the loop station if you had the GR-55.

The RC-30 is $299 US.  The GR-55 is $699 US and includes looping capabilities.  I say sell your GR-20 and buy a GR-55 instead of the RC-30.  You'll love it.  :)

That price is insane for the GR-55! The GR-20 was $800 US in it's prime. The one thing that I really dislike (read hate) is the GK-3 pickup. It is an obnoxious addition to any guitar. Dave found the right solution with the Godin Xtsa, something that I'm still considering heavily.

I picked up my GR off of Craigslist for $300 and had to replace the pickup (not the GK unit) so I did quite well on it, and might be able to sell it for what I have in it still ($340) That would go a long way to covering the cost of the 55.
