Good lawd, out here they are even more expensive.
Alpha = $7,195
Tau = $3,649
Picco = $765
And our dollar is about the same as $USD at the moment.  That is one toy I doubt I will be buying.

Yeah, that's still the same as a Koassilator Pro and Kaos Pad Pro put together....

I was thinking the same. You could probably do a lot more with that combination as well.

I had fun playing with this the other day (same level of intoxication as the dude in the vid). Cost about 30 euro; wouldn't buy it for myself but it's a nice gift idea, good for at least an hour of fun:

I'm really liking the You Rock guitar so far. I have had very little time to use it, and so far I have been fiddling with the set up and contorl settings to get it to play properly. But I think I have cracked that, it plays pretty well and I can get the tracking of finger picking and plectrum pretty good. I'll also have to learn how to tap a bit, because that technique works really well. The internal sounds aren't great, but you can mix a guitar and synth sound together, which is better, and with some effects I am sure they willl sound quite good.

Haven't tried it as a Midi controller yet, that is next job. i also need to get time to record some music with it! But so far I am really impressed with this - it;s much more than a toy!

Cheers,

Nigel

PS Just tried it as a Midi controller and it's brilliant! Now I can play my Roland synth module using a guitar interface rather than a keyboard.

Hey Nigel,
I'm glad you're going on with this stuff, and that you're comfortablòe with the YRG.
I quote everything you wrote. Expecially, try to go on with the "TAP" mode, and yes, it's very good as midi controller.

BTW, I think that in the next hours/days I will upload a brand new P.O.S.C. tune, probably with ORH's voice  :D, where I play two solos with the YRG, with patches of oboe and trumpet from my Roland SonicCell.

Stay tuned!

Ciao!
Alfredo
