Very nice - somewhat how I think Lennon and Macca might  be like if they'd stayed together.  Or maybe from the other film the Beatles never made.

Thoroughly enjoyed, but not really frightened.

on my third fourth listen (of many) already.

This is classic Greeny stuff, great song, great lyrics (I didn't get all so if you please could post them ? ) and a wonderful performance.

Love that ascending melody-part, and the whole thing is just fabulously melodic in that lovely greeny way !!

a keeper.

Here are the words:

'Paralysed'

Some people find that ignorance is bliss
While others fret their lives away
Caught in two minds at the starting gun
And left behind in the human race

Some people grow more careworn by the day
Only imprisoned by themselves
Waiting for a bus that never comes
Too indecisive just to walk away

Bridge / Chrous:

Like Nosferatu’s shadow
Coming up the stairs
Reaching for our minds
And creeping up behind

They can see it in our faces
They can see it in our eyes
Looks like we’re paralysed

The fear and the regret
Under dull and rainy skies
Looks like we’re paralysed

Some people get their kicks by being cruel
And taking everything they want
Whilst the rest of us wait patiently in line
Not pushing ourselves to the front

Some people grow more careworn by the day
Only imprisoned by themselves
Waiting for a bus that never comes
Too indecisive just to walk away

Repeat Bridge & Chorus

Geir

Thanks Tim !!

You've expanded my vocabulary with one word today ("careworn").

Oh yes!! What an intro... wicked! Fantastic little guitar fills, sound so great and work so well. All served up with a huge dollop of Greeny trademark brilliance. Great, great song.

Great guitar and up beat tempo, great bass sounds too and your vox class as usual enjoyed this so much well played.

Great song...love the Telecaster lead that accompanies the vocal, it acts as a counter melody perfectly.

Your ability to come up with varied and melodic bass lines continues to amaze me, another cracker here.

This song is growing on me more with each listen.
