There's a change a comin'
And there's nothing you can do about it
But learn to adapt

It's evolution
The survival of the fittest
There's no going back

There's no tiger in your tank
You  have no money in the bank
Somebody spent it all

So what now
We only have love
The only thing that keeps us going on
So what now
We only have love
The only thing worth fighting for

What lays around the corner
Well I don't know what's in-store for us
But I'm feeling optimistic

There's a change a comin'
And there's nothing you can do about it
But learn to adapt

It's evolution
The survival of the fittest
There's no turning back

So what now
We'll always have love
The only thing that keeps us going on
So what now
We'll always have love
The only thing worth fighting for

we'll always have love
we'll always have love
we'll always have love
we'll always have love

Proper eighties.  Nice to be able to say that; people invariably say it about my stuff...

Really enjoyable listen, great keys, excellent vocal.  Was trying to put my finger on what it reminded me of. Split Enz, maybe?

I remember the 'Put a tiger in your tank' ad, too

Another radio-friendly / radio-ready sounding hit. Beautifully put together and performed, with some great melodic touches and changes. I liked the ocean-sounding interlude especially. Very atmospheric. Great work.

Yep... I remember that Esso strapline. David Dundas' 'I put my jeans on' used the "tiger in my tank" lyric too, lol.

...which was the music from the Brutus jeans ad "I pull my Brutus Jeans on".  Sorry going off at a tangent.

Jim sent me the voice channel to remix and I also took the opportunity to remix the music

It is excellent, that.  The new mixdown is very good.  It's another one to stick on my iPod when I get home.

One slight thing for me was the off beat open hi-hat, which I found to be out of character with the rest of the song, especially in the chorus.

Beautiful song though

Haunting tune guys, as Tim says, it's radio ready. I'm in serious danger of repeating myself but, this is yet another classy piece of work from beginning to end..........Willie

I'm old enough to remember the tiger in the tank too.

This is great, the music is very atmospheric and melodic, and combined with a perfect vocal delivery make this an extremely impressive song.
